About Us

At Pain Free Power we had the dream of opening a Bike Fit studio in Stockholm. This became a reality in June 2019!


Our aim was, and continues to be, to provide the best bike fitting services possible; and to ensure that all of our clients can enjoy riding their bike!

Iain Findlay - Managing Director and Lead Bike Fitter


Qualifications: MSc Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, International School of Cycling Optimisation Level 1 and Level 2


Iain has been working in Bike Fitting since 2014 and now has conducted over 3000 Bike Fits! He has worked with athletes with a range of goals, from complete beginners to those competing on the world stage. Iain is also an avid cyclist himself having taken part in the first ever Transcontinental Race and competed in a number of long distance Time Trial races. 


Proudest Cycling Achievement: Cycling through 5 countries in a single day! - Germany, Switzerland, Lichtenstien, Austria, Switzerland (again), Italy


Longest Ride: 716km (UK 24h National TT Championships)


Favourite Climb: Passo dello Selvio

Adam Lennell - Head of Sales & Customer Relations


Qualifications: Pro triathlete and bike enthusiast.


As long as I can remember I have had a big passion for speed. As a former motocross rider I love to go fast on anything with 2 wheels. In recent years that has converted into a big passion to go fast on regular bikes. I also race as a pro in triathlon and there, my main strength is the bike leg. I have a big attention to detail and always strive to be better and faster.


Dream Bike: Cadex TRI


Favourite Cycling Destination: Mallorca


Main Goals for 2024: Coming as close as possible to 8h Ironman. Top 5 at an Ironman or challenge event. Also to climb the PTO rankings.


Proudest sporting achievements: 3rd place in my AG in my first ever ironman. 1st place at Borås triathlon 2022


Favorite training session: Long race pace/LT1 sessions, ex. 7x20min race pace

Alex Jane Smethurst - Head of Research


Qualifications: PhD, MSc & BSc Psychology


Alex has been working at PFP since it opened in June 2019. She is the head of our research department and is a pro with stats! She is also a keen cyclist and has been competing in both Time Trials and triathlon for over 10 years.
